requirements.
Most Customer Service Managers, Sales Representatives, Sales Managers,
Product Managers and Marketing Managers will have worked their way up through the technical ranks where
they acquired very good product knowledge. Sales remuneration incentives, paid telephone, a company expense
account, private use of a company vehicle and the roller coaster ride of sales performance are usually all
part of the package. This vocation can involve local and overseas travel.
Technical people with aptitude for sales and marketing can hone these skills
on the job, supplemented with in-house sales training or extra mural study by correspondence or night
class.
