Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) Course

Introduction

The Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) course is delivered over a four week period as part of our full-time Certificate in Applied Electronics Technology programme.

This is not a stand-alone short course, or trade refresher course. It forms an integral part of the Certificate programme and students must successfully complete the pre-requisite subjects in electrical theory and electrical practice before we will permit you to undertake the EAS subjects in the final stage of Course DAET02 Electrical Practice.

Electec College is contracted by the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) to deliver the theoretical training and assess the practical skills, but the final theory examination at the end of the course is prepared and marked by the EWRB.
